Watch my art come alive…

I participated in a way cool interview while filming my fine artwork process live with a time-lapse camera. Slightly nervous about creating under pressure, this ended up being a terrific idea. I agreed to have a camera mounted over my head on my drawing board, the 7 hr. studio process speed illustrates how my artwork comes to life! Featuring my own pup “BlingBling” I can talk you through the how my art is made.  The video is currently available for viewing on YouTube…share your comments!

  “Gallery on the Green”

During the 2020 COVID summer, almost all art shows were cancelled.  Rachel created a unique outside fine art exhibition of her animal artwork for a way to share some creativity with the community during an isolated time.

Local professional pet artist Rachel DiAndrea owner of PetArtStudios displayed her artwork in an exhibit called “Gallery on the Green” Saturday July 25th.  This unique outside exhibit included multiple pieces from her private portfolio, and several award-winning pieces that have brought national accolades.  DiAndrea’ s colorful Pastels, watercolors, and Graphite works brought a smile and a warm feeling every visitor, many of them pet lovers. In honor of the recent passing of her beloved standard poodle, Babette…. donations raised from entrance to the exhibit were presented to the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society.

A collection of Rachel’s artwork was loaned to the Altoona Area Library to hang on display in the youth section of the Altoona Area Library.  One particular piece features the popular library mascot ferrets.    Other pieces from the collection are included in her first published book, The Art of Being a Pet.  Rachel’s book is a favorite of the young children visiting the library.
